They're a lot different than they used to be, but I am starting to enjoy them again. It is my one day a week when I can sleep in and do whatever the fuck I want and I do not have to work or lift a finger if I don't want to.
Yesterday freaked me out a little, I was in Copy and Print so Josh could go to lunch and I got really dizzy, my hands and feet went numb, and I couldn't breath at all. I went and sat down but then I felt bad because Josh didn't get a lunch til Matt came in. Within ten minutes though, I felt fine and totally normal again. It was weird. The rest of the day I had this dull pain on the right side of my head near my eye and I still have it today. It sucks.
Last night Shelly and I went out again and did what we usually, which was get retarded drunk and takes lots of silly pictures. Her friends are a blast, we've had some good times. Every time we go anywhere Shelly as to make sure to tell people I'm a teacher. For the rest of the night her friend Katie was like, "Man, guys, if you had a teacher like her in school, I bet you'd never have skipped class!" It was funny. The pictures are on Facebook as usual, but if you're not on my friends list you can't view them cuz it ain't none of your business what I do.
I have a bunch of theme tests to start grading. It's not really a horrible thing, just time-consuming. See, I have diff kids for Language Arts, so their responses are longer and actually well thought-out for the most part. But they're still 6th graders of course so there are going to be mistakes. I am really loving my job right now, at Park anyway. I like getting up in the mornings now, and I want to be there. I love the school and the environment and the teachers I work with. I want a job there, that would definitely keep me in Lincoln.
Okay, test grading time. Later kids.
